Analytics Central

Analytics Central provides a modern reporting experience for Maintenance Connection assets and work orders. Powered by Sigma, Analytics Central includes built-in data models, interactive dashboards, and AI-assisted analysis to help you create, customize, and share reports.

Unlike classic reporting, Analytics Central uses pre-modeled reporting data rather than raw database tables. This approach reduces the need to work with datasets, schemas, and table joins, allowing you to focus on analyzing and sharing information.

Prerequisites

Before you can use Analytics Central:

• Your account must use single sign-on (SSO) with Auth0 authentication.

• You must have an Analytics Central-enabled license. Contact your Accruent representative for licensing and pricing information.

• You must have the Allow access to New Reporting access right.

Manage access to Analytics Central

Analytics Central is intended for administrators and authorized users who require broad visibility into organizational data. Analytics Central does not currently support the same granular, record-level permissions available in classic Maintenance Connection reporting.

As a system administrator, grant access to Analytics Central for the appropriate user groups.

1. Go to the Access Groups module.

2. Select a group.

3. Select the Rights tab.

4. In Module, select Report.

5. In Type, select Access.

6. Select the Allow access to New Reporting access right.

7. Select Action > Enable Selected.

8. Select Save.

9. Repeat these steps for each group that requires access to the feature.

This access activates the Open new reporting button at the top of the Reporter page in the Reports module.
